Nested virtualization & nested ESXi at VMworld 2014 – the line-up & FAQ

Since we, at Ravello, live in the world of nested virtualization (which unlike nested ESXi lets you run your VMware environments on third party hypervisors such as AWS-Xen or Google Cloud-KVM), I’m bringing you the entire VMworld line-up of all things nested so you can add these to your schedule. Also William Lam wrote about some of these in his blog here

I’ve personally been to every VMworld in the last 5 years and seen it grow bigger and more interesting each year. The team behind Ravello is the same team that built the KVM hypervisor, and I myself spent many years at VMware. So we’re all virtualization nerds here. Heck, we make every new person on the marketing team take the VMware VCA-DCV certification (and just for kicks they use AWS only for hands-on VMware learning, without any access to real hardware). So obviously we are all very excited about VMworld.
